Ukraine Humanitarian Relief Fund
In partnership with the Illinois Credit Union Foundation, we invite you to join Heights Auto Workers Credit Union to support the people of Ukraine. Donations will be collected in support of the Selfreliance Foundation’s Ukraine Relief Fund with 100% of donations going to three US-based non-governmental organizations (NGOs) working in Ukraine:
- Ukrainian Medical Association of North America (UMANA) Foundation
- Revived Soldiers Ukraine
- United Ukrainian American Relief Committee (UUARC)

Move of our Chicago Heights location
It has been brought to our attention that there are rumors circulating about the safety and soundness of your credit union. We assure you that your credit union has been here for you in the past and will continue to be strong for you in the future. We are $35 million in assets and have a net worth over 16% (average credit union net worth in Illinois is 7%). We are regulated and audited by the IDPFR and insured by NCUA (a federal insurance company). Your funds with the credit union are safe.
The reason for the move of our Chicago Heights location from the union hall, is strictly for safety reasons. We have considered many options and the best and safest for our members and staff is to move to the Burnham location. The Burnham office is a cash operation and has many security features already in place. Some features include safety windows, security officer on site, large open lobby, large parking lot. Please feel free to call our office with any concerns or questions.
